Blackmore夫妻档在New Age与World Music的音乐领域已颇富盛名，成为少数能够成功跨足Rock/New Age/World Music的艺人。
吉他手Ritchie Blackmore和他的妻子Candice Night组成的夫妻乐队 Blackmore’sNight，唤醒了多少人的耳朵。神仙眷侣虽然年岁相差达26岁，但这并不影响他们对音乐的理解一致。Ritchie Blackmore从hard rock中抽身而和妻子共同步入美妙的world music,Renaissance, new age, folk领域，源自于Ritchie Blackmore的文艺复兴（Renaissance）情结。
Ritchie并没有完全放弃自己心爱的Fender Stratocaster，但这并不影响他在 Blackmore’s Night里用原声木吉他演奏出醉人的旋律，高超的技艺无处不在。Night清爽ethereal式的嗓音辅于各种中世纪乐器----曼陀铃，键盘，锡哨，提琴，铃鼓，军鼓，手摇风琴等让人体验到从来没有过的美妙感受。Ritchie曾这样形容Blackmore’s Night----"Mike Oldfield meets Enya."
