Ride, Rise, Roar is a concert film with David Byrne that alternates with the specific elements of the creative collaborations that make music and performance possible.
The film was filmed with several cameras during a number of concerts during the tour of 2008/2009. Ride, Rise, Roar combines the energy and charisma of the legendary Talking heads with the sincere emotions of the recent collaboration between David Byrne and Brian Eno.
Between the songs the film reaches an unrivalled intimacy with David Byrne and the band thanks to behind-the-scenes auditions, rehearsals and interviews with key stakeholders. This makes the creative process leading to the unique combination of pop music and modern dance of the show insightful.
